Spring Hobnobbing In Connecticut

On Saturday, I left the normal, everyday grind of life in Lancaster, and headed up North to Connecticut where my mom lives. The moment I got there, we went to Marshall's where I spotted a designer purse that I've been wanting for a while, and at such a reduced price, what is a girl to do? So despite the large chunk out of my fun money, I bought it. And low and behold, mom found her favorite thing too- perfume. What a great day! The next day, we attended the Lutheran Church where mom plays the organ. It was interesting to see another religion and their service. Mom and I decided, y'know, since it was a vacation and all, what's the harm in a little merchandise hunting? We went to Goodwill, and I know that doesn't sound like much, but we were two kids in a candy shop. The next day, the merchandising continued. We hit the dollar store (we like to spend big) and the mall. I'll tell you, there are some interesting sights to be seen at the mall.

I still can't figure out why Abercrombie uses nude models to advertise...clothes. But whatever. Afterwards, we went home, high on our purchases...

Truly gratifying. We ended out that day with a late movie.
The next day, we decided we stroll around downtown and take some pictures.

Too bad that I have to go home now. In fact, I probably should get to bed as it's almost one and I have to get up at five thirty. I just don't want my trip to end!
